The Kirkintilloch Olympians Road Race Championships 2010/2011, will be held in a league format over 12 months from 1st October 2010-30th September 2011.

The basis of the league is as follows:

• Best 8 of 15 pre-selected races over the 12 month period.
• All members are automatically included. (i.e. you only need to enter one of the races to be included in the Championships).
• Points awarded for race position by divisions (1,2,3 and 4) with points awarded on a scale of 10/8/6/4/3/2 (for 1st to 6th) + 1 for attendance and PB time = bonus 2 pts.
• 2 bonus points are awarded to athletes for assistance at a club road race.
• 2 bonus points are awarded for participation in each of the following cross country events:
  West District XC Relays
  National XC Relays
  West District XC
  National XC
• The races selected will cover all distances from 5km to Marathon.

Prize List
The prize list for the 2009-2010 Club Road Race Championships will be as follows:

• 1st, 2nd & 3rd in each division - Trophy
• 1st overall Male & Female £50 vouicher (highest points from best 8 races)
• 2nd overall Male & Female £30 voucher (2nd highest points from best 8 races)
• 3rd overall Male & Female £10 voucher (3rd highest points from best 8 races)

Conditions:

• Athletes must enter race list Kirkintilloch Olympians as their club.
• Athletes must compete under their own name to score points.
• It is an athletes responsibility to inform the club of a PB (and supply evidence if required).
