By popular demand, Kirkintilloch Olympians are again organising this challenging road race over the unusual distance of 12.5k. The race will be held on Sunday 25 February 2007 and details are on the entry form which can be downloaded from this site (link below).
   Pre-entries can be posted to Robert Rogerson, race organiser, and further enquiries should be directed to me (r.j.rogerson@strath.ac.uk). Please note that there is a race limit of 200 and no entries will accepted once this has been reached. You are encouraged to enter well in advance.
   It would assist if you can provide an email address as any further information will be sent to you directly. Race numbers will not be posted in advance and should be collected at the registration point in Gartconner Primary School where changing facilities (but no showers) are also available. Tea, coffee, cold drinks and baking will be available after the race at the school.
   Parking is limited and I would encourage you if possible to car-share. Please arrive in plenty of time before the 10.30am start of the race as we will be closing the road at the start from 10.15am and registration will close at that time.
   This race is open to all runners and I look forward to welcoming you on Sunday 25 February.  It forms part of the Dunbartonshire AAC winter league.
