RUN KIRKINTILLOCH SERIES
Join us in the first Run Kirkintilloch series - 12.5k, 10k, and half marathon races across 2012. Entry can be made using the form and together this will provide a saving of £5 on entry fees ... and entitled you to a 'bonus race', the 5k in August.

THERE WILL BE NO ENTRIES ON THE DAY

This races offers runners of different abilities an opportunity to participate in a longer than usual race along quiet but undulating country roads. It commences outsider of Gartconner Primary School and comprising a challenging circular route.
Registration, number pick up and changing facilities (limited to toilets, no showers) will be available at St Agatha's school from 9.15am. Parking is available.


LENZIE JOG

Thanks to all the hundreds of runners who took part in the Lenzie Jog on Jan 2nd 2012. SENIORS CHRISTMAS HANDICAP
Well done to all the runners in the Xmas handicap. Some really good performances, surpassing their own expectatons. Thanks to Ian, Linda, Chris, Michael, Iain and Bill for marshalling and to the officals who also acted as judges in the 'fancy dress' competition. Winner of best outfit was Ros and the closest to predicted time was Fraser.

MATTHEW MAKES HIS MARK IN SLOVENIA
A KIRKINTILLOCH Olympian has helped Great Britain to shine at a top cross country event in Slovenia.
Matthew Graham placed 45th in the SPAR European Cross Country Championships in Velenje and won a team silver medal with Great Britain.
