Sherrifmuir Challenge Race
Sunday 19th August 2007

This was the second Sheriffmuir Challenge Run, and this time the water stations were pinned down. The conditions were good. The run out for 5.5 miles went well with Bill and Gordon having a good steady run.  After the tough climb to start, the race feels reasonable as it meanders towards the motorway and the turning point of the course.

The second half of the course is tough with long uphill climbs. Bill and Gordon had to work hard on the second half of the course.

Bill finished in 12th place in a time of 1 hour 14 minutes (2 minutes slower than last year),  and Gordon on his first attempt at this course finished in 38th place in a time 1 hr 28 minutes.
